KS1 teacher and English Lead KS2 teacher

We are looking to recruit an inspirational Key Stage 1 teacher AND an English Leader who will teach in KS2 to add to our growing team in September 2018

Mainscale and UPS

GEMS Didcot Primary is a popular, ambitious and successful multicultural primary school, with a nursery, that opened in September 2016.  The school currently has 220 pupils (from nursery to Year 3) and will grow by 60 reception pupils a year until the school reaches maximum capacity of 420 in 2020.  We are very proud of the school that we are creating and are looking to expand our team.

GEMS Learning trust has been established to offer all children in our academies a first class education.  It has high expectations of everyone in the school community and challenges children to succeed while supporting them every step of the way.  Currently GEMS Learning Trust has two academies with a third due to open in 2019.

We are looking for a talented Key Stage One teacher to join our team to teach in either Year 1 or 2 and an English lead to teach our Year 4 class and lead English across the school.

English lead

GEMS Didcot Primary Academy is seeking an aspiring or experienced middle leader to be based in Key Stage 2 (initially in Year 4).  This vacancy represents an exciting time to be part of a developing academy which has clear direction, strong leadership and a well established set of values.  We truly believe in the transformational power of education and aim to deliver the best opportunities for staff and students who are part of our journey.

This post offers a great opportunity for someone who has an excellent knowledge of effective teaching and learning of English, is good at creative problem solving and is looking to take a really active role in leadership in order to bring about lasting change. There will be weekly release time for development of this important subject across the school.
