Carrying on our topic 'Did dragons exist?' Acorn class took part in horse racing, using their physical skills they were able to negotiate the space and the obstacles along the course.

On Monday Acorn class discovered that a strange coloured egg had been left in their classroom! What could be inside? This is the question we have been asking the children this week.
So, while we wait patiently for the egg to hatch the children have continued to explore, engage and develop their learning based on our topic 'Do dragons exist?'

The children have settled back into the new school term very well and are very excited about our new topic 'Did dragons exist?'
We have started our topic by learning all about castles. Children have engaged in role-play based on our theme and have used their mark-making skill to design their own castles.
