Lunchtime Supervisor Post

We are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work within our fantastic school

  • The hours of work are 12pm to 2pm Monday to Friday.
  • This post is term time only
  • The pro rata salary is £3,951.42


We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Ofsted rated “Outstanding” school. 


GEMS Didcot Primary School opened its doors for the first time in September 2016 with five classes from Nursery to Year 2. We currently have 300 children on roll and the school will be completely full in 2022 with 420 pupils plus the nursery.


The primary purpose of the role will include:


  • To work as part of the team and help the children eat sensibly, encourage polite behaviour and good table manners.
  • To ensure the smooth operation of the lunchtime service.
  • Monitoring children and their behaviour outside on the playground (before or after lunch service) and ensuring that it is a safe environment for all pupils
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • The post will also involve listening to children read once lunchtime service has finished

GEMS Learning Trust is a not-for-profit enterprise affiliated to the global network of GEMS schools. The salary will be based on the NJC scale starting at point 3 (£18,065 FTE). The post is paid for 42.2 weeks which includes 28 days annual leave (pro rata).

Unfortunately, the hours of work not negotiable.
