Office Assistant Post
We need an efficient but caring person to play a key part in the day to day running of our busy school office, alongside our committed and hardworking office team. The successful candidate will hold the vital position of first point of contact for our school.

GEMS Didcot Primary School opened its doors for the first time in September 2016 with five classes from Nursery to Year 2. We currently have 335 children on roll and the school will be completely full in 2022 with 420 pupils plus the nursery.
GEMS Learning Trust is a not-for-profit enterprise affiliated to the global network of GEMS schools. The salary will be based on the NJC scale starting at point 3 (£18,065 FTE). All posts are paid for 43.2 weeks which includes inset days and 28 days annual leave (pro rata).
You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, be competent in IT and an adaptable approach would be an advantage. A working knowledge of Integris would be desirable, but training can be arranged. You will also need to be able to work on you own initiative and to carry out the role under pressure.
The post includes lunchtime supervisor duty from 12pm to 1pm where you will be supporting children first in the nursery class and then in the school dinner hall and helping the kitchen staff tidy the hall after lunch service.
Unfortunately, the hours of work are not negotiable.
